Here is an article based on the problem:
Metamask does not show an individual ERC20 (hard) Balance
I try to test an exclusive ERC-20 token with metamask and hardhat. After installing my ERC-20 coins and saving some of the standard hardhat accounts, I try to add the token to the metamask. However, when I try to see or deal with my token balance in Metamask, it shows no value.
This question has been hit by me for a while and I hope someone can help me find out what is happening here. Here are some steps I have taken so far:
1.
- Tokens Model : I beat a few thousand chips for one of the standard drawers, which is used by Metamask.
- Added to Metamask
: I tried to add these tokens to my metamask wallet, but it does not appear.
Here are some possible questions that can cause this problem:
* Token Balance Development : Are you sure the token has been successfully installed and beaten? Check the contract installation script again and make sure the token is delivered correctly.
* Metamask Account Configuration : Is the metamask wallet configured to use standard tests for test purposes? Make sure the metamask account is connected to the same Ethereum network as hardhat contracts.
* TOKEN CONFIGURATION : Do you use the correct settings for the exclusive ERC-20 token in the metamask and hardhat wallet? Make sure the token name, the symbol and the decimals are defined correctly.
I would like to ask for more problems to solve the problem:
- Can you provide more information about the contract installation script and tokens?
- Did you try to configure the metamask account and the token configuration on a separate Ethereum network or another metamask wallet?
If you continue to have problems after these steps, share with me and do your best to help you.
